Summer Art Group

For young adults aged 18-26

Wednesdays,

June 15 – August 14,

3:00-4:30

 

Group is limited to 6 members.
​
Cost is $50/session, $400 total for 8 sessions.
Format:
  • Each week will start with a grounding exercise or short meditation
  • Then I will provide an art prompt
  • While we create, we will talk.  I will have questions ready to facilitate discussion, but members are encouraged to bring their own questions to work on
  • Members will choose the following week’s theme
  • Sessions run 90 minutes
 
I will provide paints, collage supplies, yarn, and any other materials we need. 
 
Members are welcome to bring their own projects that they are working on if they want.
 
Some themes might include:
  • AI, technology, social media and their effects on relationships
  • Becoming independent, being alone, living on your own
  • Setting and maintaining effective, personal boundaries
This group is good for:
  • College students home for the summer and in need of support they are used to getting on campus.
  • New HS grads getting ready for the next step
  • Quarterlifers who feel stuck
  • All genders welcome
 
This group is NOT for:
  • People with serious mental health issues better served through weekly, individual therapy
  • Anyone with active suicidal thoughts
