You see you wouldn't ask why the rose that grew from the concrete had damaged petals.
On the contrary, we would all celebrate its tenacity.
"The Rose That Grew From Concrete"

Sometimes you've even been called transitional aged youth. This is indeed a time of transition! Change is scary. And adulting is just a mystery. I can help you manage the chaos of that change and grow instead of stagnating.

Throughout our lives, women experience many transitions. You watch your toddler start school; you watch your kid become a teen; you let them go as they become adults. At the same time you change jobs, start and end relationships, shift roles, and look for meaning in it all. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone to process all that change with?

Trauma Work
Processing trauma is a personal journey. The goal isn’t to forget it. The goal is to integrate it into your story in a way that doesn’t overwhelm every other part. Judith Herman said, "The consulting room is a privileged space dedicated to memory. Within that space, survivors gain the freedom to know and tell their stories."

It really does take a village because raising a family is hard work. It's OK to ask for help now and then, especially when your kids have a meltdown and your teens start taking risks. Parent coaching can take place in one or two sessions, or at regular intervals. Let's spend some time exploring new skills so you can support your kids and teens as they develop.

Walk & Talk
Wellness experts agree that as little as 10 minutes out in nature can help improve mood. Combining a walk in nature with a therapeutic session can help people open up and feel less pressured. I find this modality works great for teens and young adults who may need to move or who aren't as comfortable with intimate conversations.

Sand Tray Therapy
While talk therapy is a proven way to navigate changes and process past trauma, sometimes it is not enough. Sand tray work lets your right brain get involved helping you see the big picture and its context. Sand tray therapy can help you synthesize the big picture and make meaning.

Sometimes it's hard to connect with a real person. It's easier to be open and vulnerable with a chat bot that validates you. If you've found yourself the victim of an AI spiral, reach out. A real relationship with a trained therapist IRL can help you heal.
